Very curious what will happen next in here.

then let's get rid of the sets with the ghost of Kiev, do you agree? Or from all sets related to politics?)

Motatim is correct. What if one has friends in Russia. Are they not human, friends, modelers too? Stop all this Ukraine crap. It is an American/Nato money laundering scam. Now, I can't purchase model kits from Russia because they are banned it the USA. All because of putrid politics.

Is it a real kit? We keep it.
If it is a fake product? We ditch it

As for your political views: FFS, keep them for twitter/facebook/whatsapp

Its a model, so its not out of place. However its topic certainly was not MiG-29.
This site has always belonged outside of politics and I would always remind anyone either side of that fact.

So lets all move on and enjoy this hobby and leave politics at the door.
(Sorry Tim, I was writing this as you posted)

@scalemates this brand is on the Arma Models website, and most likely, it is a by-product of the brand of the same name

Your argument is deeply flawed, boyo. icm-kit isn't liable for a defamation lawsuit, it actually represents a real aircraft. But hey, if making fun of someone is all you have left, fine.

Sticking to the facts.

Thank you, we keep this product

I would like to notice that this site is commited to one side of the war by supporting it with flags and hiding some of the products that are made in the other country (which I fully support). I just do not uderstand why hide producer that makes models of real things and leave something like this? I'm not expecting answer, this is really great place to us modellers so keep it that way. Sorry for sharing my personal views. Peace.

I agree: It's a model that you can legally buy on the market, so it should be listed as such on this platform. But the model kit is in itself a political statement. It's not, like others, a depiction of reality. Then again, there are many models that fall into the same category of fiction, but those usually aren't a representation of a political opinion.

Then again, Rafal Napierala makes a very interesting point: You hide other products out of a certain POLICY, but others you don't? That smells a bit like hypocrisy if you ask me.

The political opinion of this kit could be seen two ways: it could be seen as russia belittling Zelensky and the Ukrainian response to russia's invasion of Ukraine, or it could be seen as an admission by the russian manufacturer that Zelensky and Ukraine is beating russia with courage, and whatever equipment and materiel they could cobble together. I choose to see it as the later, though I don't buy kits of russian manufacture.

I don't have time for these pointless scale-wars nor replying to statements ending with "if you ask me" on policies which don't exist

The policies exist and censorship too, unfortunately they are needed, so it seems.
