I've been trying to do that with a different model, and the upload never seems to happen. 8(

what is the size of the pdf? if too big that may be the reason. if you have several jpg files, you need to put them on a pdf. if you try to upload jpg's, each of them will overwrite the previous one

I'm trying to upload it as a .DOC instead of a PDF because I don't have any PDF creation software. The .DOC has all five PNGs embedded in it.

I started to try uploading it as an .ODT, but I figured people might not know what to do with an .ODT. Everybody knows how to open a .DOC.

I... found an online .PDF creator and made a PDF of the PNGs. That, too, failed to upload.

many programs have the option to export to pdf, without using extra tools. also possible is to "print to pdf"

None of mine will do that.
Curiously... I managed to get ONE instruction sheet uploaded as PDF. SM refused to accept any of the others I tried to upload last night. I'll try again today.

you can only upload pdf for instructions, unless i am really mistaken. for artwork you can upload jpg and some other formats.

Gr. It absolutely will not permit me to upload the instructions (PDF format) for the 1970 Buick GSX or for the '37 Ford Panel Delivery Truck. It permits me to select a file on my hard drive, but "Save Changes" does nothing but change color; nothing is uploaded.
Maybe a shorter filename. It may accept only 8:3 filenames.

It wasn't my best work, but I got the instructions uploaded as a single pdf.

The GSX' PDF is ... lessee. It was a good-sized bunch of instructions. It came to 33 meg.
The AMT '29 Model A (also failed) came to 24 meg.
The Revell '30 Model A Couple (failed) was 38 meg. Also a really hefty bunch of instructions.
The Revell '37 Ford Panel Delivery (failed) was 16 meg.
The AMT '32 Ford Roadster (failed) was only 7.7 meg.
At some point, if I wait long enough after trying an upload, ScaleMates always "unexpectedly closes the connection".
