Unfortunately, Italeri tempted me with the boxart, showing an 412 with high clearance-landing gear with fire suppression tank, wide slide doory and nightsun-searchlight....but none of this features is actually included in the kit. Too bad.

Valuable comment Malte (I almost got sucked in too!) - thank you for the insight (it is part of what Scalemates is all about!). Sorry that you had to 'pay' for it!

I hate lame reboxed that in no way are reflective of the box art! 😛

I think unfortunately it's the same with the Bell 206 Jet Ranger of various Police Departments (in 2015). No special Police equipment, but the well-known military accessories. What a pity!

Even knowing all this i still brought one! I can scratch build the taller skids and i guess the tank will be made from something? But i can't believe Italeri had the nerve to release it like this (and molded in very dark grey plastic! Why not white?) There is plenty of space on the sprue to fit the missing parts so why not do them? At least the decals are fairly well done!

Just to be clear - this exact helicopter from boxart doesn't have high clearance-landing skids... As for the others things - get ready , soon they will come as accessory kit , including electrical steps and mirror😉
